Valecha Engineering Limited has reported a net profit of ₹0.39 crore for the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26, based on its unaudited standalone financial results for the period ending June 30, 2025. This figure marks a significant shift from a loss of ₹0.43 crore reported during the same quarter in the previous year. The company's total income for the quarter stood at ₹7.91 crore, which is an increase from ₹6.26 crore year-on-year, yet a decline from ₹18.24 crore in the preceding quarter. The Board of Directors approved these results during a meeting held on November 7, 2025, at their registered office in Mumbai.

The construction expenses incurred by Valecha Engineering were ₹6.11 crore, reflecting a rise in operational costs compared to ₹5.14 crore for the same quarter last year. Both employee benefits and other expenses also saw increases, amounting to ₹0.61 crore and ₹0.47 crore, respectively. The company's performance in this quarter was impacted by ongoing challenges in its subsidiary, Valecha Kachchh Toll Roads Limited, which is undergoing a Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) initiated by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on October 9, 2023.

Despite these financial pressures, Valecha Engineering remains optimistic about its future. The company has retained its investments in several subsidiaries, totaling ₹2.18 crore, along with loans and advances of ₹169.02 crore, all carried at book value pending recoverability assessments. Given the current financial landscape and the ongoing CIRP, Valecha Engineering is closely monitoring its financial assets, trade receivables, and pending payables, emphasizing the need for careful management and strategic decision-making in the coming quarters.
