Gupta holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology in Jaipur. Throughout his career at NFL, he has been instrumental in executing several major turnarounds of fertilizer plants. Notably, his leadership during the Energy Saving Project (ESP-II) at NFL Vijaipur showcases his commitment to operational efficiency and innovation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Gupta also played a critical role in the revamp of the synthesis compressor drive turbine at the same unit, demonstrating his ability to adapt and manage complex challenges remotely, in collaboration with Mitsubishi, Japan.
