Lloyds Engineering Works Limited (LEWL) has secured a significant contract valued at ₹613 crore and €18.26 million from SAIL – IISCO Steel Plant for a 4.2 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) Pellet Project. This announcement was made on November 3, 2025, highlighting LEWL's selection as a consortium partner alongside Primetals Technologies India Pvt. Ltd and Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH. The project, which is set to be completed within 39 months, marks a substantial milestone for LEWL, further solidifying its reputation as a reliable engineering partner in India’s industrial landscape.
This contract signifies LEWL's ongoing strategy of forming strategic alliances, having established over 10 collaborations with both domestic and international entities in the past two years. Mr. Shreekrishna Gupta, the Wholetime Director at LEWL, emphasized that this order reflects the industry’s confidence in the company's technical expertise and execution reliability. Under the consortium arrangement, LEWL will oversee detailed design and engineering while also supplying critical process equipment and systems for the project.
