Engineers India Limited (EIL) has announced its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025-26, reporting a total income of ₹9,482.40 million. This figure represents an increase from ₹8,921.11 million in the previous quarter and a significant rise from ₹6,483.19 million in Q2 of the previous fiscal year. The company’s performance was bolstered by a healthy contribution from both domestic and overseas consultancy services, which totaled ₹4,112.97 million, alongside a robust turnover from turnkey projects amounting to ₹4,891.06 million.
The breakdown of EIL’s financial performance shows a clear upward trajectory, with consultancy income from domestic operations reaching ₹3,414.32 million compared to ₹3,340.68 million in Q1 FY25-26. Even in the overseas segment, consultancy generated ₹698.65 million, although it dipped slightly from the previous quarter. Overall, the turnkey segment continues to perform well, reflecting an increasing demand for EIL's services in the engineering sector.
Moreover, the company's segment profit for Q2 FY25-26 was reported at ₹1,407.58 million, up from ₹931.88 million in Q1, showcasing improved operational efficiency. The consultancy segment alone contributed ₹1,164.13 million to this profit, marking a substantial increase from ₹682.17 million in the previous quarter.
