Amber Enterprises India Limited has reported a consolidated revenue of ₹5,096 crore for the first half of FY26, reflecting a notable 25% year-on-year growth compared to the same period last year. However, the revenue for the second quarter (Q2FY26) remained relatively flat at ₹1,647 crore, indicating a decline in growth momentum. The company also recorded an Operating EBITDA of ₹361 crore, exhibiting a 13% increase year-on-year, although it faced challenges in Q2 with EBITDA dropping 19% to ₹98 crore. Furthermore, the Profit After Tax (PAT) for H1 FY26 stood at ₹74 crore, which is a 23% decline from the previous year, while Q2 FY26 witnessed a loss of ₹32 crore compared to a profit of ₹21 crore in the same quarter last year.

The results come amid significant changes in the regulatory landscape, particularly the reduction of GST on room air conditioners (RACs) from 28% to 18%. This reform is anticipated to enhance affordability and drive deeper market penetration, although Amber Enterprises faced headwinds due to adverse weather conditions affecting the RAC market and a deferral of purchases during the transition period. Despite these challenges, the company's Consumer Durables division reported a 15% revenue growth for H1 FY26, albeit with an 18% decline in Q2 FY26. In contrast, the Electronics Division experienced a robust 60% revenue growth in H1 FY26 and 30% in Q2 FY26, reflecting its resilience and growth potential.

In addition to its financial performance, Amber Enterprises successfully raised approximately ₹1,000 crore through Qualified Institutional Placement, signaling strong investor confidence in the company's growth trajectory. The Railway Sub-systems and Defense division also demonstrated promising growth with a 17% increase in H1 FY26 revenue and a 7% rise in Q2 FY26. The division's order book visibility has reached ₹2,600 crore, positioning Amber Enterprises for sustained long-term expansion. As the company navigates these financial dynamics, it remains optimistic about outpacing industry growth and capitalizing on strategic initiatives across its varied divisions.
